Bernie Sanders Buys Another Beach House To Personally Keep An Eye Out For Rising Sea Levels

Shortly after his latest ‘Fight Oligarchy’ rally, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders purchased another beach house off the coast of Cape Cod.

Critics are slamming Sanders for the hypocrisy of claiming to be a champion for the environment and middle class while flying around in high-carbon-emission private jets and owning multiple properties.

Sanders, however, is defending his latest real estate acquisition, arguing that it’s so he can do his part in personally keeping an eye out for rising sea levels and take a more hands-on approach to protecting the environment.

“I understand that people are concerned that I may not be practicing what I preach when it comes to protecting the environment,” Sanders told a group of paid protesters on Saturday. “That’s why I’ve purchased another beach house so I can see with my own eyes if the sea levels are rising too much. If they are, I will take swift, decisive action by beating the ocean with a giant wooden stick until it retreats.”

At press time, Sanders was seen hiding under the boardwalk a few blocks from his new house with a giant net, waiting to trap people who littered.
