George Pickens Excited For Chance To Win Third Place In NFC East With Cowboys

DALLAS, TX - On Wednesday, the Steelers agreed to trade wide receiver George Pickens to the Cowboys for a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fourth-round pick.

When asked how he felt about moving out of the Steel City, Pickens said that he couldn’t wait to add a third place finish in the NFC East to his resume.

“I’m really excited about this opportunity,” Pickens said in a press conference. “Playing for a team with an even more obnoxious fan base than the Steelers is super motivating. I promise Cowboy fans across the country I’ll do everything I can to help the team come in third place in the division again.”

Some Cowboys players, however, aren’t as excited about their new teammate.

“I don’t know about football man, but he better take my shine,” star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb said. “If there’s one thing we about here in Dallas, it’s swag. I don’t care about scoring no touchdowns or winning no games. You take my limelight, Imma take your life.”

At press time, Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones said he’s most excited about the long drawn out contract negotiations with Pickens in two to three years in which he’ll end up paying him way more than he’s worth.
