Man Finally Figures Out How He Wants Hair Cut At 40 Years Old

Two months overdue for a haircut, 40-year-old Kevin Crawford nervously walked into his King Street Barbers on Tuesday, rehearsing haircut instructions he had been carefully preparing for weeks.

“I’d like a number three blade, tapered-fade on the sides and back. No sideburns. Cut about a half-inch off the top with scissors. Wash and part from right to left, please.”

Stunned, Crawford’s fellow patrons stared at him in blank-faced awe of the fact that he was able to accurately articulate what he wanted without showing the barber a picture of a famous athlete or actor.

After a long pause, the entire establishment broke into cheer. “Way to go, man!” one man shouted. “You’re my hero!” shouted another.

At the end of his haircut, Crawford’s barber humbly asked him if he would be the new face of King Street Barbers and come back next week for a promotional photoshoot.

Crawford politely declined the offer, instead asking them to spread the word of his legend and teach men that they can, indeed, figure out how to describe how they want their hair cut properly.
