Man Slaps Another Bumper Sticker on Car Just in Case People Don’t Know How Much He Loves Hiking

TACOMA, WA — 36-year-old software developer Kevin Stronk checked an item off his bucket list Sunday afternoon when he hiked part of Mount Rainier.

To celebrate the accomplishment, Stronk proudly slapped an “I Heart Mt. Rainier” sticker on his Subaru Outback—making it the 19th hiking-themed sticker to adorn his car’s precious real estate.

“I sure hope people get it now,” Stronk mumbled to himself as he plotted where to place his next bumper sticker. “I just love hiking so much. Maybe I need one or two more, just in case?”

According to local law enforcement, Stronk has been pulled over nearly a dozen times for driving too slowly, which he consistently claims is to give people enough time to read all his “super quirky and fun” bumper stickers—like “I’m peak-ing,” “Trail mix? More like trail ticks!,” and “I’m boulder than you on this trail.”

Some community members have also reported strange run-ins with Stronk, claiming he frequently tries to get fellow drivers to roll down their windows at stoplights to chat about the best hiking trails.

“Have you ever hiked Old Rag?” Stronk was heard shouting at a biker at the intersection of Main Street and 15th. “You look like a guy who’d love Old Rag. I’ve got a pair of toe-grip shoes with your name on them!”

At press time, Stronk was seen waiting at the DMV three hours before it opened to be first in line for the license plate ‘M0UNT1AN’.
